Fellow Espresso Guided Tamper

Fellow Espresso Guided Tamper

Product Features

• CONSISTENT ESPRESSO TAMPING MADE EASIER — Tamping compresses coffee grounds before brewing and plays an important role in espresso extraction. The Guided Tamper helps make this step feel more approachable while supporting a more repeatable workflow.
• COMPATIBILITY: FITS 58 MM SINGLE WALL DOUBLE SHOT BASKETS — The basket is the metal filter cup that sits inside your portafilter. This tamper fits Fellow Espresso Series 1 and any other espresso machine that uses a 58 mm single wall double shot basket.
• SELF-LEVELING DESIGN — A self-leveling base helps keep the tamper flat against the coffee bed while applying pressure. This supports a more even puck surface and reduces the guesswork that can come with manual tamping.
• SPRING-LOADED FOR REPEATABILITY — The spring-loaded mechanism helps create a more consistent tamping motion from shot to shot. Repeatable puck prep can help support more balanced espresso extraction over time.
• BUILT-IN VOLUMETRIC GUIDE — An indicator on the handle shows how much pressure you are applying. Press until it reaches the painted range, signaling ideal pressure for extraction, so you can repeat the same dose and pressure from shot to shot.
• FOR HOME BARISTAS AT ANY LEVEL — Whether you're pulling your first shot or your hundredth, the Guided Tamper is designed to fit a home espresso setup. Keep it on the counter beside your machine as part of a morning or weekend routine.
• PART OF YOUR PUCK PREP ROUTINE — Great espresso starts long before brewing. The Guided Tamper sits between your grinder and your espresso machine, working alongside your portafilter and scale to help create a firm, level puck before extraction.
• COMFORTABLE, BALANCED FEEL — Constructed from aluminum and stainless steel, the tamper feels substantial and balanced in hand while remaining comfortable to use as part of your daily espresso routine.
• WARRANTY — The Espresso Guided Tamper is covered by Fellow’s standard non-electric one-year warranty.
• DESIGNED IN SAN FRANCISCO — Fellow makes beautifully functional tools for any kitchen, designed to bring intention and precision to the act of making. When simple motions become small moments of joy, that’s Everyday Magic.
